Good Neighbour Policy
Manfred Czub has been Hamburg Airport's Neighbourhood Officer since 1997. Following the motto "Neighbours should talk to, not about each other", his main responsibility is to maintain contact with organisations, associations, parties and other institutions in the direct vicinity of the Airport. He is also the contact person for local schools and kindergartens. Manfred Czub also organises the active involvement of the Airport in events around the perimeter fence. In short, he always has sympathetic ear for the problems and needs of the local residents, and tries to make their life easier as neighbours of a large airport in a built-up area by offering cultural, social and environmentally-oriented commitment in personal and open dialogue.
Hamburg Airport’s "Infomobil" will be present at local events all year round. The Infomobil provides information about all topics connected with the airport, e.g. construction measures, noise-protection programmes and security at the airport. Manfred Czub and his team will be very pleased to welcome all visitors. Details of locations and times will be announced on time.
